Inspired by the 16th-century colonial art style, this linocut is printed in sepia ink on 300g cream-colored Somerset cotton paper. The dimensions of the artwork itself are 20x30 cm, laid out on a 35x25 cm paper canvas.
This piece is a linocut hand-carved on a linoleum block; each one is printed traditionally, using a press called an etching press. The handmade nature of this process ensures that each piece in the series has subtle variations, adding a special charm to each one.
It is delivered framed in natural wood with an off-white mat. Measurements: 40x60 cm
